About Ryan Johnson Farms

Ryan is a 4th generation farmer living on the original family homestead. The original farm was 80 acres in beautiful southern Idaho along the Snake River, west of the town of Hammett.

When Ryan went to college, he always knew that he would come back to farm. After he graduated with a degree in Business Management, he started his own career in farming, opening up his own business, Ryan Johnson Farms.

Ryan finds importance in keeping an active life in the church and the community. One of the best events of the year is his annual harvest party, in which all of the local community can find time to get together and hash out war stories from the past months, years and decades.

Ryan has three little farm boys that like to share in the love of farming. Their favorite jobs are helping run the combines, pitching mint roots, hooking up hoses at the mint still, and getting dirty.

Ryan does an amazing job managing the farm and all of its many facets. He strives to raise quality products that he feels good about. He aims to show his boys that you can live an honest life, work hard and attain your dreams all in the midst of a hectic schedule.

Amy has taken lead in running the farm office. She also homeschools the boys and tries to keep things in order. On a normal day it isn’t uncommon that she keeps everyone in line on multiple levels, “boots off at the front door”, and “stop spending money!!!”

Life has its ups and downs but the life of a farm family is what dreams are made of.
